Diapering Doula
Nestled deep within a new development in Morrisville, fittingly beside a playground, is the Diapering Doula. The Diapering Doula, by The Triangle Diaper Company, LLC, is a small locally owned boutique that specializes in natural notions for mama and baby. Products are made by Stay at Home Moms and family owned businesses. The diaper delivery service picks up and drops off cloth diapers weekly throughout the Triangle. The owner, Karissa Binkley, is a certified Birth Doula and understands how important it is to keep baby healthy and parent’s happy. The store hosts a number of events including knitting and nursing at noon, babywearing demos and cloth diaper tutorials. The Diapering Doula is a place where parents and baby can feel comfortable and have fun.
Karissa’s experience as a buyer for a European clothing company is evident in the products offered. Hip and cutting edge, the organic clothing lines hail from Europe and a family owned company in Egypt. The eclectic store is colorful and fun-loving using not so obvious pieces as display cases including birdcages, antique trunks and even a doctors table from the 19th century.
